EXPERT TIPS TANZANIA VISA INFORMATION
You can obtain your Tanzania Visa upon arrival in a fairly simple process at the airport. It may only take 15 mins (we will include the application form in your booklets we provide to you prior to your departure). Here are the requirements for the VISA:
- Two recent passport size photos
- Flight Itinerary
- Passport valid for six months
- Visa Fee (US$100.00 for US passport holders)
- Visa application form must be filled out and signed by the applicant
E-Visa for TANZANIA
Tanzania has recently made e-visas available to incoming tourists. This means you can easily apply and pay online and be notified of your visa status through a simple email. There is also a tracking function on the e-visa website so that you can stay up to date on the status of your visa. Here is the link: https://eservices.immigration.go.tz/visa/
Please note that the e-visa only applies to all applicants who will be entering Tanzania through the following entry points: Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam (DAR/HTDA), Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), Abeid Amani Karume International Airport in Zanzibar (ZNZ), The Namanga Border Crossing (between Nairobi and Arusha) and the Tunduma Border Crossing (between Zambia and Tanzania).
